What is your business?
Liverpool Wellbeing Centre has been established in Hope Street for 6 years. It’s a regional Centre of Excellence for holistic health and complementary therapies and operates as a small, creative organisation providing, in its own inspirational words: 'Training and Treatment for Transformation'.
Why did you start it?
I started Liverpool Wellbeing to promote and encourage Merseysiders in taking responsibility for their own health by using traditional and time honoured self-help techniques and safe, natural therapies.
What did you do before it?
I was a yoga therapist before creating Liverpool Wellbeing Centre.
What makes your business unique?
The elegant, inspirational venue and cultured, highly perceptive staff who make up the team at Liverpool Wellbeing make this a truly one-off facility for people who value their own quality of life.
What are your plans to make the most of the Capital of Culture?
The city has transformed this year through the sheer hard work of the people of Liverpool and business initiatives. We want to contribute by helping to motivate, de-stress and re-energise. We can help relieve work pressure, fulfil corporate responsibility and raise funds for local charities at the same time.
Our Georgian sanctuary is a wonderful place to wind down or rejuvenate, and we can also send our team to your workplace for a productive afternoon of therapeutic bliss!
